If you don’t have a balance, you can deposit your rewards into your bank account connected to Upgrade. Cash back rewards are redeemed once applied and do not reduce your regular monthly payment amounts.
For Rewards Checking account customers: After a qualifying debit card purchase settles, cash back is typically credited to your Rewards Checking or Rewards Checking Plus account within 7-14 days. However, depending on the merchant, it may take up to 90 days.
For purchases at participating merchants made with your Upgrade Card, after a qualifying purchase has settled, your accrued cash back will generally be applied to your balance after your next scheduled monthly payment. If you do not have a balance and for as long as your card account is open, you may elect to have cash back applied as a deposit into your bank account on file.
For purchases at participating merchants on your Rewards Checking debit card, cash back is credited directly to your checking account. After an eligible transaction has settled, your applicable cash back will typically be credited to your account within 7-14 days but can take up to 90 days depending on the merchant.
